CRM & billing

Live today

Every caller becomes a Zoho contact, every call a note.

If the shop already keeps its customers in Zoho CRM, the receptionist can keep that list current for you. A caller who gave a name and number is a Contact. What was said is a note on that Contact.

A contact card and a draft invoice connected by a dashed line to a phone

How the connection actually works

What gets sent

The caller’s first and last name, phone number, email if given, and the service address as the Contact’s mailing street, city, province, and postal code. The note holds the items reported, whether a visit was booked and its window, the city, the priority, the outcome, and the call summary.

What gets created

A Contact, matched on phone number (or email if there is no phone) and updated if it exists. One Note per call, titled with the Right On Call call id. A note that is already on the Contact is not added twice.

Which calls

Calls where a name and phone were captured: bookings, callback requests, and the like. A hang-up, spam call, or a bare coverage check creates nothing, so your contact list doesn’t fill with strangers.

Daytime and after hours

During the day

A call you answer yourself isn’t seen by Right On Call, so no Contact is written. A call the receptionist takes is synced in the background right after it ends.

After hours

The same sync runs at any hour. The overnight caller is already a Contact with a note when you open Zoho.

What setup looks like

The shop signs into its own Zoho account.

  1. Open Integrations in the dashboard

Sign in to the Right On Call dashboard as the shop and open Integrations.

  2. Connect Zoho CRM

Choose Connect on the Zoho CRM card, sign in to Zoho, and approve access.

  3. Confirm your Zoho region

Zoho runs separate regions (.com, .ca, .eu and others) and the connection has to match the one your account lives in. We set this with you during setup.

  4. Make a test call

Call the line with a name and number and check the Contact and its note in Zoho.

Limits and edge cases

  • A Contact needs a phone or an email to be matched. A call with neither isn’t synced.
  • If Zoho is unreachable, the sync is retried a few times, then given up on. The call is flagged as not synced on the call record, so a gap is visible rather than silent.
  • Zoho CRM and Zoho Invoice are separate connections. Connecting one doesn’t connect the other.

This is for

  • Shops that already keep customers in Zoho CRM and want call history attached to them.

This isn't

  • Shops that don’t use Zoho. Jobber or Housecall Pro is the usual customer record.

What we won't claim

  • Create Deals, Leads, Tasks, or Events in Zoho.
  • Read your Zoho data back into the call.
  • Overwrite a Contact’s other fields. It updates only the ones it sends.

Zoho CRM questions

Is Zoho required?

No. It is optional. Without it, the call record lives in your Right On Call dashboard.

Will it make duplicate contacts?

It matches on phone number first, then email, and updates what it finds. A new number is a new Contact.

Can I see whether a call reached Zoho?

Yes. Each call record shows whether the sync worked.
