CRM & billing

Live today

A booked visit gets a draft invoice.

A call that ends in a booked visit already tells you who, where, and what is broken. Right On Call can turn that into a draft invoice in Zoho Invoice, so the technician starts the job with the paperwork opened.

A contact card and a draft invoice connected by a dashed line to a phone

How the connection actually works

What gets sent

The customer’s name, phone, and email, then a draft invoice. If the shop has a diagnostic or service-call fee set up, that is the first line. Then one line per appliance or system the caller reported, each at zero, so the technician fills in the real services and prices.

What gets created

A Zoho customer, matched or created, and one draft invoice on it. It is a draft, so it is never emailed or sent to the customer by Right On Call.

Which calls

Only calls that booked a visit. A call that only captured a callback doesn’t create an invoice, unlike the CRM connection, which mirrors every identified caller.

Daytime and after hours

During the day

A booking the receptionist makes writes a draft right after the call ends. A call you answer yourself is not seen by us.

After hours

The same, at any hour. The next morning’s visit has its draft waiting.

What setup looks like

A separate connection from Zoho CRM, because the two can live in different Zoho organizations.

  1. Open Integrations in the dashboard

Sign in to the Right On Call dashboard as the shop and open Integrations.

  2. Connect Zoho Invoice

Choose Connect on the Zoho Invoice card, sign in to Zoho, and approve access.

  3. Confirm the organization

The connection finds your Zoho organization itself. If your login owns more than one, we pin the right one with you.

  4. Set your service-call fee

The fee line comes from the diagnostic fee we set up for your shop. With none set, only the item lines appear.

Limits and edge cases

  • The invoice is a draft with unpriced item lines. Pricing is the technician’s job.
  • An account with several Zoho organizations needs the right one pinned during setup, or the first returned is used.
  • If Zoho is unreachable, the failure is recorded on the call and no invoice is made.

This is for

  • Shops that already invoice from Zoho Invoice.

This isn't

  • Shops that invoice from Jobber, QuickBooks, or another tool. The receptionist doesn’t write to those today.

What we won't claim

  • Send or collect on an invoice.
  • Quote a repair or parts price. The only fee the agent ever says is the service-call fee.
  • Create invoices for calls that didn’t book.

Zoho Invoice questions

Does the customer get an invoice?

No. It is a draft inside your Zoho Invoice account. Nothing is sent.

Where does the fee come from?

From the diagnostic or service-call fee configured for your shop. It is the only fee the agent is allowed to state.

Do I need Zoho CRM too?

No. They are separate and either can be used alone.
