Lead sources

On request

Angi leads that call can be answered. On request.

Angi is a US lead source, and Right On Call is built around Ontario shops. We list it because some shops buy Angi leads, and the part we can do is simple: answer the shop number when an Angi lead rings it.

On request. Not live. Nothing on this page is available as a self-serve toggle. Tell us you buy Angi leads and we will scope what a deployment would take.

How the connection actually works

What would happen

An Angi lead calls the number your shop publishes. If you miss it, the receptionist answers in your shop name, takes the job details, and books or texts your on-call number. The same as HomeStars, with one difference: the caller is in the US.

What there is not

No Angi API connection, no lead import, and no reading Angi’s app or inbox. If Angi delivers a lead only as a message in its app, that lead stays in Angi.

What would need scoping

Service-area checks are built around Canadian postal codes, so US ZIP coverage would need to be set up. Texts to US numbers are not delivering yet, which affects confirmations and the hang-up text.

Daytime and after hours

During the day

Same as any other line: you answer if you can, and a missed call reaches the receptionist.

After hours

The receptionist answers at any hour you schedule, with the same bounded safety script for emergencies and a text to your on-call number.

What scoping would look like

This is what we would scope with you, not steps you can follow today.

  1. Tell us which number Angi rings

We would confirm it is a number that can be forwarded or published.

  2. Scope US coverage

ZIP-based service areas instead of postal codes, and how US customers are texted.

  3. Test on a private line

We would call it as an Angi lead would before it takes real calls.

Limits and edge cases

  • Text delivery to US numbers is not live yet, so a US shop would not get customer confirmation texts until that is resolved.
  • The default build is tuned for Ontario shops, in English and French. A US deployment is not the default.
  • Leads that arrive only as messages stay in Angi.

This is for

  • US shops buying Angi leads that arrive as phone calls.

This isn't

  • Ontario shops. HomeStars is the lead source that matters there, and it is live.

What we won't claim

  • Connect to Angi’s API or lead delivery.
  • Respond to leads inside Angi’s app.
  • Promise that Angi leads call your shop number rather than only messaging you. That depends on Angi.

Angi questions

Is Angi supported?

Not as a product feature. We can answer the number Angi rings, once a US deployment is scoped. Today it is on request.

Why isn’t this live for Ontario?

Ontario shops use HomeStars, which is live as a phone handoff. Angi’s US lead flow doesn’t apply.

What would it cost?

Scoped during setup, like any other adapter work. It is not a hidden line item once you are live.
